The print server will have instructions how to connect it to your wireless network and configure it, Its usually just a box like your router and will have a USB input to pop the printer into. It will pick a IP from the router once its set up and should show up on your network as a printer you can use.
Very first you need to have Network setup, If you don't have a network set up in your house you'll need one.To make the configuration you need to go to the control panel and start the home network wizard on both PC. Keep your printer in sharing mode and that to make sure the printer is set to be shared across the network. Then her laptop will be able to assess the printer so long as your PC is on.
With two USB ports and one parallel port, it works for up to three printers. A big advantage: Your printers don't need to be attached to a dedicated computer, so you can place them wherever it's convenient. Attach your USB printer to the Print Server and load your printer drivers onto your computer. You are now free to print, scan and fax wirelessly from around the home or office. The Print Server also works flawlessly with wired networks through its integrated Ethernet port.
