    Emails goes in Duplicate and triplicate

    I am using Ms outlook express to send and receive emails. From a matter of time whenever I send a email to my receiver he receives the same copy in duplicate or triplicated. It had happen many time. I am fed up with this thing. Some time I too receive the same messages which I had viewed already viewed. I am getting some mails from a specific id for atleast 10 to 12 times a day. What is this problem all about. My receivers and both are irritated. Kindly provide some suggestion. Your help is really appreciated.

    Same like you your receivers are using any email client to view the file. This possibly happen if you had configure your server to keep a copy of the email. In same way you too receive the duplicates emails. Now do you have any antivirus scanning tool for incoming or outgoing mail. If yes then there is the place where the problem lies. You will need to uninstall your antivirus and reinstall it.

    You said that you getting the same mails continuously. Do not open them. They are spammers. Those are spamming mails which contains virus. Run your antivirus tools. Track down the ip address of the mails and block them. Or you can also your configure your server and mention those mails under spammers. You server will block the and you will not receive those unwanted crazy mails again.

    The main reason behind this things is, there is a copy of the emails left on the server. For eg. if you send a mail to some one the copy of mails is in your outbox plus in the sent box of your server website. In the same way your receiver receives your mail he may delete it, but what about the copy of mail in the server. If you download your mails then you will get the same copy again. To remove it log on to your website on the internet not in Outlook express. And go to setting. Select option like deleted mails after one week or 1 day or 1 month or once the mail is downloaded. Then you will not receive this duplicate mails again. Ask your receiver also to do the same.
