    HTTP Root directory

Have a little question about charging the root directory on a page. Normally loaded index.html / php / and so on. But can be typing something in the browser (IE or FF) in order to use the root directory? Type of index.

No, you cannot change it. It is the server under the configuration that determines what is to be presented to the visitor.

Is it well to change with htaccess?
