Need to block the IE settings

    Hello,

I have a Only one PC at my place, me and my brother uses that simultaneously and he permanently alters the IE parameters whose term backup history.

I want to setup my position once and for all and then prohibit the opportunity to make changes directly from IE.

I know that some professional config this is implemented.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Would not it be easier to set up an account for each user so that everyone can make their own configurations?

Indeed, having an account per person is better but I want to monitor (or rather control) sites visited by others. And by setting IE once and for all and blocking these settings, I'm on my history but also the right settings to not accept anything and everything on the PC.

That is the big problem of the moment.

If it is a question of limiting Internet access to your brother, it would be better to use a parental control application ... Obviously it will explain why you install this application and so on. But it is probably more effective than trying to block and reprimand to go to sites "problem" after the fact.

And a priori, if your son has a little common sense, it will not affect the settings that protect your computer such as anti-virus or fire-wall.
