To access the Pop-up Blocker Options Preferences In Firefox:

    1. At the top of the Firefox windowOn the menu bar, click on the Toolst menu, and select Options...Preferences....
    2. Select the Content panel.

From there, you can do the following things:

    • Block pop-up windows: Deselect this optionpreference to disable the pop-up blocker altogether.
    • Exceptions: This is a list of sites that you want to allow to display pop-ups.

The dialog has the following choices:

    • Allow: Click this to add a website to the exceptions list.
    • Remove Site: Click this to remove a website from the exceptions list.
    • Remove All Sites: Click this to remove all of the websites in the exceptions list.

Note: Blocking pop-ups may not always work and may interfere with some websites. For more information about blocking pop-ups, see What are Pop-ups.

To change Pop-up Blocker settings In Internet Explorer:

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.

If you want to see pop-up windows from a specific Web site, type the address (or URL) of the site in the Address of Web site to allow box, and then click Add.

Tip To temporarily allow a site to display pop-ups, click the Information Bar when it notifies you that a pop-up has been blocked. Then click Temporarily Allow Pop-ups.

To block pop-ups even if they are launched when you click a link or button on a Web site

    2. On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.
    3. Select the High setting in the box near the bottom of the dialog box.

Not sure what operating system you're using, but Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox both have their own popup blockers. The Google Toolbar is decent and has a popup blocker as well as some other useful tools.
