How to change default browser in MSN messenger?

    Hi there,
I want Mozilla Firefox as my default browser. But when i click on link for emails and other links within MSN Messenger, all opens in internet explorer. Can i change the default browser as Firefox in msn messenger? If yes, please tell me how?

    Thank you in advance.

MSN is a microsoft product, it is tied and partial to internet explorer. there is nothing you can do beside copy and pasting the URL in different browser. You could always use thunderbird (the email program that is a companion to firefox) and use the hotmail extension to check hotmail.

You can use firefox directly to open mail. Just type in msn.com to sign in to hotmail account. Or you can try following:
    • Download and install MSN Messenger Plus!
    • Download and install StuffPlug
    • Launch MSN Messenger and sign in.
    • click StuffPlug 3 from menu and select Options
    • Go to General tab
    • Select the "Open Hotmail Inbox in default browser."

    Try this:
Open internet explorer and click on tools =>Internet options =>click the Programs tab and at the bottom is a little check box that says "IE should check to see whether it is the default browser". Click that and restart internet explorer.

You're all crazy! Lol... You can, infact, change MSN's default browser, by downloading a script for MSN or WLM, called "StuffPlug"
You do not need MSN Plus! to use StuffPlug, however; it's a nice add-on as well, if you want to extend the things MSN can do.
