How do I verify whether Active Scripting, Active X or Java is being blocked by a firewall or by any anti-virus program?
Scripts, Active X controls and Java programs help shape the way a Web page is displayed.
If, by any reason, they are blocked, it may disrupt the display of Web pages.
Make any necessary changes, and try to open a Web page where you previously received a scripting error. If you do not receive the error, the issue is resolved.
When your web-page does not display or work correctly and you may receive an error messages, then you should understand that your anti-virus program or firewall might be blocking scripting pages, Active X, or Java scripted web-pages to display properly....
See the documentation for the firewall or anti-virus program that you use to determine how to make sure that scripts, Active X controls, and Java programs are not being blocked.
