If you are sharing the Mail message stores with another user or another email account then create separate message stores for each user account. As the Vista Mail Password Prompt when you switch users.
Click on Tools, then Accounts. then your email account, then Properties,
then Servers. Under Incoming Mail Server, make sure your username is entered correctly. Check the box before Remember Password, if it is unticked then click it and apply. Then click on OK. Now check if it prompts for password again.
Removed the password from my Vista sign on screen, and then Vista security area shows no password. Now restart your system and No more email verification required for mail. Hope it will work for you.
