No sound on google chrome

hi,
i installed chrome yesterday. Videos were playing fine in google. the sound from my computer works fine; I had no sound when I tried to play YouTube videos or music,i can hear sounds on opera, internet explorer, firefox but when it comes to browsing on the internet with chrome, there is no sound! I, i can hear my music, videos, etc.Any recommendations and suggestions are appreciated.Thanks in advance for your help.

i had same problem,i uninstalled Adobe flash player using the uninstaller from Adobe. Then I installed the latest version and now it works just fine. I thought that I had the latest version but maybe I didn't.i hope this will work for you.

Turn out advanced volume control option in vista called "mixer" that allows the to mute specific applications that are running. Despite my not knowing of its existence, it somehow muted chrome, and after multiple re installations of chrome continued to mute the program. However, this mute applied only to flash based content, and any other type of media (.wmv, .mov) would play perfectly embedded in the browser.

Try to unsinstall Adobe Flash, and re-installed the latest version. After a reboot, no problem.

To slove the problem follow the step which are given below:
1. Uninstalled Flash using the uninstaller from adobe.
2. Uninstall Google Chrome.
3. Reboot.
4. Reinstall Chrome.
5. Navigate to YouTube and attempt to play a video.
6. Follow the link to Adobe to install Flash Player.
7. Install and then revisit YouTube.
8. Sound!
