Protected Mode disabled

Hello to all,
anyone has idea why the bottom on IE with Vista Ultimate still have the word "Internet: protected mode off" despite the fact that in Tools / Options / Security there is a check box on the activation and that the UAC in Start / Panel Control / User account is active? Always work as Administrator.

Even if work as an administrator, UAC and Protected Mode and then should be activated, unless you've enabled the hidden administrator with a special command.Try to reset the browser settings from Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced -> Reset ...

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I've tried resetting the internet and also using IE8 instead of 7 and find viruses and spyware, but does not change anything. I do not think it is something serious because I try to just remove the tick on the boxes above, view of it and asks to restore it. It seems to me a strange view of how what has happened to me about a week ago where I had to disable the IPV6 because connection was the message of "Record of the computer on the network" always open. The strange that for at least 3 months has been running smoothly and I have not done anything new to Vista. I have the dual boot and use XP normally.

There is some anomaly in identifying your network (and network type) and the other problem dell'IPv6 is another clue in this direction ...
Protected Mode can turn itself off Lan networks identified as belonging to the "Safe" etc ...

I am connected wirelessly using WPA-PSK encryption directly to the modem to which Alice is connected to another USB PC. I have also tried to reintallate software connection, but others just do not know what to look for ...
