Add HTML Email Signatures in Gmail

greasemonkey with Firefox, you can add html email signature to Gmail.
After activating Greasemonkey, use Gmail Signature Float userscript. It will modify gmail in 3 ways -
    * Moves your signature in Gmail to the top of the quoted message rather than the bottom.
    * it can strip out the two dashes that Gmail automatically places above the signature. If those 2 dashes irritated you, they are gone now.
    * It enables the ability to add HTML to signatures, and the ability to leave turn off and on “floating” of the signature.

Re: Add Signatures to GMail Email Messages

Create an HTML signature using notepad or WYSIWYG editors like Dreamweaver/Frontpage or online with Geocities/GooglePages/Tripod Lycos. Your signature can have all kind of HTML tags eg.including DIV, EMBED, TABLE anl all linked to Image files, audio files and video clips must be pointing somewhere the web.

Once you are satisfied with the layout, select the entire portion of the webpage that you want to appear in the GMail signature and drag it to the GMail compose window. Alternatively you can copy it to the clipboard and then press Ctrl+V in the Gmail window

Step 1: The HTML signature is created in Google Page Creator. Select the entire signature and press ctrl+c.
Step 2: Open a new Gmail compose message window. Now either drag the signature in this GMail window or press Ctrl+V to paste it.

you can use this technique for embed anything in your gmail message. Say you want to embed an image to embed Feedburner RSS feed animator, open that graphic in your browser window and drag-n-drop it anywhere in your gmail message.

Re: Add Signatures to GMail Email Messages

    Download firefox
Installing the "Blank Canvas Gmail Signatures".

Now we will install the main interest, ie the module "Blank Canvas Gmail Signatures". Go to https: / / addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/7757

For this module, you must open an account on Mozilla by clicking on the link "Register" at the top right of the window (it's free).

Then or if you already have an account MOZILLA, you must click on the link "Log in", since the module is experimental. But do not worry, it does not break
Then enter your email address and your password
Then click on "Add to firefox" and "accept and install"
You will see the following window shows the installation of Firefox. You must wait 5 seconds and then click "Install Now"
You must then "Restart Firefox" for this to be active

Creating an HTML signature in GMail

Then create your signature in HTML in the first box and automatically you will see the required result . If you are not completely comfortable with HTML, you can use web site so you can create Web pages, so as your signature ...

When your signature is complete, click on "Save Signature" this is your signature in your email. Now when you select this account, the signature will appear by default .
