Need help with the Startup error in my laptop

Hi,

Sincee last 15 days, I am encountering a error message in my laptop. This error (screenshot attached) is coming up immediatly after the system has started and desktop view comes up (running like a startup program). There is no potential performance issue in the laptop as of now but i notice some of the downloads are getting breakdown in the middle without completion.

Can anyone of you look at the attachment and let me know the cause and consequence of this error?

this error occur due unavailability of the reminder.exe what you need to do is remove its coressponding entry from the startup list item here how to do that

1. click Start->Run
   
   in run dialog box
2. type "msconfig" (ithout quotes)
   
3. click Startup tab. Find entry with path and untick your entry.
   
4. click ok

Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.

• Very Important! Temporarily disable your anti-virus, script blocking and any anti-malware real-time protection before performing a scan. They can interfere with ComboFix and remove some of its embedded files which may cause "unpredictable results".
• Click on this link to see a list of programs that should be disabled. The list is not all inclusive. If yours is not listed and you don't know how to disable it, please ask.
• Remember to re-enable the protection again afterwards before connecting to the Internet.

Double click SDFix.exe and choose Install to extract it to its own folder on the Desktop. Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :

• Restart your computer
• After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
• Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu with options should appear;
• Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press "Enter".
• Choose your usual account.
  
• Open the c:\SDFix folder and double click RunThis.cmd to start the script.
• Type Y to begin the script.
• It will remove the Trojan Services then make some repairs to the registry and prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
• Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
• Your system will take longer that normal to restart as the fixtool will be running and removing files.
• When the desktop loads the Fixtool will complete the removal and display Finished, then press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
• Finally open the SDFix folder on your desktop and copy and paste the contents of the results file Report.txt back to the thread with a new HijackThis log.

Sure i will Help you with this Issue You Need to follow The steps:-

1. Download the Link:-
   
   Download
   
   Unzip the file to your desktop and run the Software.
   
   
2. Boot into Safe Mode and do a search for these files and delete any instances found:
   
   • param32.dll
   • guninst.exe
   • popup_bl.dll
   • systr.dll
   • svrhost.exe
   
   
   If any not be deleted, (likely delete param32.dll), run the Downloaded Softwareand paste the full file path of file in the box and click on Delete on Reboot. Click on the button with the red circle and an X in the middle; you will get a message saying File will be deleted on next reboot, Process and Reboot now?, Click Yes to reboot. (The 'file path' will be something like C:\WINDOWS\System32\param32.dll)
   
   
3. Scan with hijackthis, and have it fix the following entry:
   
   R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.specialgoods.info/ad/ad0271/
   
   
4. Be sure all windows are closed, other then hijack this, before hitting Fix checked.
   
5. Reboot, close any open browser windows, scan with hijack this.

Now you would not get the error Message again and Everything would be working fine.
