Unable to open Music files from websites

Hey i would like to know on behalf of my friend, that he is unable to open music files from the websites. He had installed window Xp.

When ever he tries to click on any music files an error pop-ups stating that the associate application does not exist and recommends him to change the application in his preferences.

May i know where would i get the preferences in order to change it?

I don't understand what is actually going on.

Can any one help me out to resolve this problem?

    Thank You

Hey dude welcome to Windows Forum!!

It's only the Ram files which do not allow you to open the music files. Is better for you that, you just reinstall the latest version of Real player or any other software which might help you to sort out your problem.

Is any thing else that i would need to open the files?

Hey man try out this one, as i used to face the same problem. At that time when ever i used to open any track from the Real Player it keeps on telling me that you have to download Codec software to play it.

Afterwards, i did the the same and it's working fine for me with out any problem

You just try to do the same.
