Problem with Outlook Expess DBX files

    Hello
I am running Windows XP and using OutloukExpess 6. I compacted my files, I am now seeking my DBX files and I can not find them. When I move to a folder and look at the properties I have an address
    ex :C:\Documents and Settings\AS\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{676468C9-3382-4F2A-B9CD-F655B4FA4FC7}\Microsoft\Outlook Express\Archives.dbx

When I search on exploring after appearing cookies I do in that part of the road after it is empty
    ex :C:\Documents and Settings\AS\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{676468C9-3382-4F2A-B9CD-F655B4FA4FC7}

When I search on *. dbx Explorer does nothing, yet I have access to all my historical messages

    any idea ?
    thank you

    Hi,
Try to see as allowing the display (or research) files System ?
    Check also:
    Options> Maintenance> File Storage

I thank you , I tried your suggestions,
    • Display all files -> nothing
    • Via Tools> Options> Maintenance> File Storage

for every file I always have the same path mentioned in my message and it is clear Archives.dbx , divers.dbx ,etc...

but the sub directories are empty, the system finds no dbx, and my historical directories of each are clearly legible.

    hello: hello:
And if you launched a command prompt (Start -> Run -> cmd -> OK) and then do this:
    dir /a /b /s "%USERPROFILE%\*.dbx" dir / a / b / s "% USERPROFILE% \ *. dbx"

    What happens?
