Not able to Add or Import contacts to Mail Directory

Hello Friends

Whenever I am trying to enter a contact manually, I am getting a quick flash of a window that I can not make out. When I am trying to import a file no contacts gets added. I am set as the Admin of this computer. Any Ideas? Thanks,
