How to find location of chat friend?

if u want to know the location (ip address u mean) , then try this
download active ports (http://www.webattack.com/get/activeports.shtml)

open the software after installing

now start chatting with your friend . send him a file and ask him to accept it ..
now during that transferring , check active ports and you should see a green bar against the yahoo messenger related exe files. check the remote IP in it.

Firstly Login to ur id ,then give the victims id on the text box,and click Get IP,this will show ther ip ,It uses one weekness of yahoo messenger.Enjoy..
