Hello, the error 1935/2908 is a common error in .NET FRAMEWORK, visual studio. This error means that window installer had encountered an error while trying to install assemblies to the Win32 GAC (WinSxS). This error is also known as fatal error which causes the installation to roll back. To fix it you can analysis installation log files and find the HRESULT which is a cause of an error. There are few steps you need to follow to successfully install it 1st uninstall the UN succefull Visual Basic components. Then download offline install ISO image file. Turn off your antivirus software before installing. Then clean your temp folder by typing %temp% in run and then run the setup by right click on the installation file and then click on Run as administrator. This will surely help you.

Hi, you just have to delete your temporary file and uninstall the software and again install it and if you still get the same error then please collect the installation log files from %temp% with the log collection tool and send vslogs.cab file which is in %temp% folder to the Microsoft for further support they will surely help you to get rid from this problem. Hope you problem will get solved with this

Just cross check you might have install the beta version of it, I cant help you much but maybe you get help from my suggestion which is given below: if u had install your .NET FRAMEWORK, visual studio using Windows Installer MSI package then this may repair it .You just need to rename the file %windir%\system32\mscoree.dll and then delete the folder %windir%\system32\urttemp if it exits. If your software version is v1.0 then search for repair.htm in the folder %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.0.3705.

You may try this, rename the file %windir%\system32\mscoree.dll also note the version of the file. And then extract the file mscoree.dll which is located in netfx.cab from i386 directory and then copy mscoree.dll from netfx.cab to this location: %windir%\system32. And then try to rerun the software which is showing an error. If the problem still exists, please contact Microsoft and don’t not forget to delete your temporary file before trying those steps.
