Encryption of binary file

I write a c program for encryption and decryption of an algorithm like DES algo.
It is a 64 bit block cipher text. Key is also 64 bit.
text file is working properly.
But binary file is not working.
Can anyone plz help me....

If i open the new decrypted binary file with notepad, it looks same as the original file with some NULL character at the end.
But that may not be the problem in case.
the images are hazy and jumbled up.
mp3 files are though playing, but in a weird fashion.

1.jpg is the original file
3.jpg is the decrypted file

You must check your algorithm first. Your algorithm is at problem according to me. The decryption algorithm should do the steps exactly opposite of what the encryption algorithm does but in reverse order. I hope you find what is wrong.
