    Use Case Model in UML

    Hi all,

I am using unified modeling language in my software project. I have a program for example, "recruiting workshops for students" use case describes how students interact with the system to participate in workshops. It does not describe what the user interface looks like, or how it works. So i want to know that what is the use case model in UML. Please suggest. Check and reply.

    Use Case Model in UML

Use case is neither a class specification, nor is the data specification. This should be captured by a conceptual model of an information in the object world, it is through UML Class model modeling. You often described in reference to conceptual model classes, for example, "Enroll in Seminar" use case includes "workshops" and "student" and so on, they are described by the conceptual model. Check and reply.

    Use Case Model in UML

System use case frequently cited by the main user interface (UI) Elements, these elements are often referred to as "boundary" or "user interface" items, such as the HTML pages and reports. Use cases are sometimes also cited some minor UI Elements, such as buttons or data entry field, but this level of detail and less common. Use case contains a considerable amount of information that can be easily recorded in common format. You should consider developing their own templates. Best of luck.

Re: Use Case Model in UML

Use cases should not only describe how the participants interact with the system, it should also describe how the system to respond to these interactions. For example, in the "Enroll in Seminar" use case, if the system the students indicated that they wish to participate in workshops did not respond, the students will be very upset to leave. If all goes well, will be used is a basic course of action, But do not forget the alternative process. The introduction of alternative process is used to describe the potential errors and business logic errors and exceptions. These important information for the design of drive system is necessary, so do not forget them in the use case model. Check and reply.

    Use Case Model in UML

It is use case driven user documentation. The purpose of user documentation is to describe how to use the system. Each use case describes the participants were taken through the use of the system a series of moves. In short, the use case from the beginning with the preparation of the party asking the user trustworthy information. For example, you can use the "Enroll in Seminar" use case as the basis for the preparation of system users of the document "How to participate in workshops" section. Check and reply.

    Use Case Model in UML

Part of the software development process is to inform the outcome of the work the project fund managers, it is sometimes necessary to provide demonstration. Because use cases are written from a user's point of view, they contain a demonstration of the fund managers may want to hear something valuable insights. In other words, use cases typically contain the logic required to develop presentation. Best of luck.
