Incoming links replaced in Wordpress 2.3

Yesterday i upgraded my blog to Wordpress 2.3, and suddenly i noticed that Incoming Links has been replaced to Google BlogSearch search engine which is its sole provider. But what i need is to restore the Technorati Incoming Links without removing the the Google Blog Search. Any of you have any suggestion or idea, how can i do that ? Please let me know.

I think, it’s time for new plugins.Technorati Incoming Links Plugin enables Incoming Links feature in WordPress Administration Dashboard without removing the current Google Blog Search.It allows you to switch from Google Blog Search to Technorati in the incoming link section of your Wordpress 2.3+ admin panel.

When you activate the plugin it just works adding theTechnorati Incoming Links in your dashboard. If you would like to change how many links show up, there is an option page called TIL when you could set it. Navigate in the admin -> Options -> TIL. This plug-in will replace Income Links feed from Technorati without modifying any source code, ensuring the change is not lost on future WordPress upgrade.

What you need to do is:-

Download the plugin TIL (Technorati Incoming Links)
uncompress it with your preferred unzip/untar program or use the command line: tar xzvf til.tar.gz
copy the file til.php in your plugins directory at your wordpress blog (/wp-content/plugins)
activate the TIL Wordpress plugin at your Plugins admin page

Folks at Automattic thought that bringing Google BlogSearch would spruce up stuff, and it has obviously backfired. But the open-source community surrounding WordPress has come to the rescue again. And it is easier to correct the WordPress system than Google.

Minimum system requirements

WordPress 2.3 or later, as long as Incoming Links on Dashboard is still powered with Google Blog Search or other non-Technorati engine. Else the feature will be useless.
