Beginner in JAVA need some help!

I am a beginner in JAVA programming language I know C++ & now moving to JAVA.

I need a help from you guys to give me some good ebooks, PDF files, online tutorials links for study. I would love if you provide me some free stuff that I can download. I even need some sample projects in JAVA for my reference!
