VPN remote client not getting IP address

I am facing issue with VPN. It is connects well and also the system is registered on the network. The authentication also looks to be working but somehow the system is not getting the IP address. So that is why I am not able to connect to the domain. It was working fine before, but recently we had replaced the NIC for SBS 2003. Also we had installed SP1. After that this unknown issue started appear. After running Wizard to connect to the same it works fine but still it is not allowing me to get appropriate access.

Go in event log and there you would be able to find some errors. It will give you more information on the problem you are facing. It is necessary that you can provide us the exact error description or else it will be not possible to help you. The problem that you are facing can also be due to dhcp failure. Did you checked the same in some other computer which are in the network. You must check that and let us know.

Even I think the problem lies with the DHCP due to which you are facing the problem. It is necessary that you run the wizard one more time and check whether you are able to connect or not. Update the nic drivers once more and start all the configuration settings from scratch. I do not think replacing the nic would put some more effect on the connectivity.
