    Change a user's out of office status

    One of the users on my Network has went out for some urgent propose and just called me up to say I change his status out of office on email. I tried but dint got the way for doing the same. Because of Short of resetting his password and logging into his email. Can anyone of you please tell me how can set a user's email Out of Office?

    I don’t think you really need to stress for this because the user himself can do it easily through Outlook Web App (OWA). I think that is the better way instead resetting passwords and all.

    Thank you for the suggestion Stel, even I know that but as he is not in a situation (driving) to do the same, he called me up and told to do the same on behalf of him.

    Can I know how to set the email status?

    I’m not sure about other ways but If I would have to do that, I will change user’s password and log in as his to OWA. You can do the same or simply grant yourself full mailbox rights if he don’t mind to his mailbox in ADUC and open his mailbox in OWA or Outlook.
