proper way to remove a computer from sbs 2003 domain

As my title itself says I want to stop my SBS 2003 network and keep just the existing Windows XP install on the client workstations. So cany one here please tell if there is any proper method to get them off the domain and get rid of the my docs/files redirection sync program? Help appreciated.

Well you can do this simply by removing the workstations from your domain. After doing the same you will see some odd registry/policy shards remaining in there. To get rid of this you will need to do a clean install which is the most surefire method, which may not be necessary.
