    DHCP failure over Windows SBS

I am facing a DHCP failure problem in interval of few hours. The DHCP server keeps on getting down on SBS. I cannot understand the reason behind failure. The error is related to some DHCP serivce. The complete error message is : The DHCP/BINL service on this computer running Windows Server 2003 for Small Business Server has encountered another server on this network with IP Address, 192.168.168.1, belonging to the domain. It shows a weird ip address in the error message. I am not having any device that comes with that ip. It looks like some kind of virus attack on the system.

Try to run ipconfig and post the details you will get. It is necessary that your system if on automatic configuration must get a temp ip to access internet. You can try working on dhcploc also once and find out if the server is able to find the DC or not. There can be a separate server or router on the network which is causing conflict with SBS dhcp. So that can be due to that also. You have to provide detail information about your network.
