Reset lost, Arris, Router, Password?

Trying to replace new laptop on 2 laptop network, but lost password. How do I reset password for Arris Router?

Before i suggest you something about the same, i will like to know which aris model you are having?? had you set the password before or it was using default password??

Hello. Thank you for replying. Arris is only 1 year old. Set up by tech person I hired. 2 computer home network system. l computer died; other still on it. Arris mode: TM402P/110--PINTM02A1104

If you had not set the password on your own then you can try out entering "admin" in the username and then leave the password blank and hit enter and see if it is helping,I have checked out for the same and i have found that there is a default User name as well as password for such routers and it is just "user" for both but then i am not that sure about the same, if you want then you can try out that too.
