Cannot connect to workstations using RWW SBS 2008

I am able to connect to server using RWW and admin rights but cannot connect to any workstations with admin rights or user. The workstations have "Allow users to connect remotely to this computer" checked. When I try to connect it, then it tells me the below:

    VBScript:Remote Desktop Disconnected
The remote connection has timed out. Please try connecting to the remote computer again.

If I am going to that particular workstation which I was trying to connect to, then it is locked up and requires a restart. I am using a SBS 2008 on a Dell Server PE1900, with 64 bit OS and 8gb ram, and 2 Xeon processors. I have also got a Linksys Security router with port forwarding - 25, 4125, 3389, 443, 987, 389, 1723. Thanks for any information.

Can you try to use RDP to connect directly to the workstations from within the LAN?

The issue that you are facing occurs if you do not have the certificate installed on the TS Gateway. To resolve this issue you must add the certificate on TS gateway. To do this, follow the steps given below:

    1. Open TS gateway manager. (Start-Administrative Tools-Terminal Services-TS gateway manager).
    2. Click on Server name.
    3. Click on Properties on the right most pane.
    4. Click on SSL certificate Tab
    5. Generate 1 if needed or select an existing one.

The connect to a computer feature in SBS 2008 is one of the most popular features of RWW. The connect to a computer feature in SBS 2008 utilizes TS-Gateway behind the scenes, however, when there is a misconfiguration or a problem, RWW may only provide partial information to help isolate the root issue.
