POP3 Connector does not do its work

This is SBS 2008 which many users/clients using Outlook 2003. Suddenly I started getting some problem with POP3 connector. The Connector ends prematurely downloading mails after cca 5 mails with bad headers. Any idea what is wrong with it all of a sudden?

How can I fix it out?

First of all tell your clients to download all emails in their Outlook and store them on Exchange server. Now move away from POP3 connector in Exchange. Once done, directly log in to you POP account and manually trash all the emails. That’s it. I have been through exact problem and this is how I fixed it.

Login directly into the POP account and deleting emails manually is only useful when you have other mailboxes that are downloading normally with the POP connector. Is it so? If not then alternatively you can open connector properties and up the logging level on the Troubleshooting tab. See if you get any more useful errors in the Application log.

That was great suggestions guys, thanks for the same. I think the cause of this problem is "Invalid Header Fields" that from the POP3 mailbox messages which is not consonant with the RFC standard, so that Exchange server would not download the messages into corresponding Exchange account mailbox.
