How can i change the IP address of my SBS 2008 server, so it changes everything needed (AD,DNS). The change IP address tool from SBS 2003 isn't available in SBS 2008.
Can someone please help me.

Well you can do it simply by changing the IP address and running “Fix My network” wizards. Just don’t forget to modify LAN setup and port forwarding on the router. Let me know if you need more help.
I think that not correct jigu902003 because as far as I know there is no Fix My network Wizard in SBS 2008. You will manually need to make the changes in network properties.
If you run the Connect to the Internet wizard you can set the IP address of your server there. I don't think it is a good idea to do that in the network properties.
You are absolutely correct Oshea because Change IP wizard is removed from Windows SNS console in SBS 2008. The only way to change the server’s IP Address is by run the Connect to the Internet wizard (CTIW). You can get more info about Connect to the Internet Wizard (CTIW) here http://blogs.technet.com/sbs/archive...zard-ctiw.aspx
I've had run the fix network setting yesterday, but then it changed the IP back to the original.
When i tried it again now i saw i could deselect some options so i deselected the first 2 options (primary gateway and network router), now it works fine.
Thank you for the information.
Just to say thanks - this helped me a lot - and also the tip for the first 2 options :-)
Cheers
Andy
I tired this twice now (manually change the IP address, then run the "Fix my Network" wizard, but it doesn't result in a functional SBS 2008 server. the DNS isn't right (pinging server.domain results in the wrong IP address) even though I checked all of the DNS entries) and Active Directory isn't accessible).
