The daily backup that I am doing is falining from 2 days now. The problem has something to do with the Shadows copy or VSS writer. I am getting Event ID 6013(VSS) and then different Event ID: 1(SQLVDI) errors in the Application Log.

The issue that you are having occurs when the following conditions are true:

You back up data from a volume that contains a Microsoft SQL Server database.
The recovery model of the SQL Server database is configured to use an option that is different from Simple.
