SmallBusiness SMTP Connector Queue Stacking Up

I am getting a problem while sending message using Exchange server. It is a new server that has Windows SBS 2003 installed on the same. I am quiet annoyed to find the problem with SMTP connector queue. It was working fine at the time of setup for firew few days .But later on the problem started. I thought the problem lied with SMTP but somehow there are standards of sending email that my server fails to meet and I am stuck with a queue. It keeps on increasing. I had restarted SMTP Queue but still nothing happens.

It is better if you go with a public ip or ip of host. That is the only place where it is going to work well. It is necessary that you must try sending the same through exchange or via smarthost. I had modified mail server a number of time before, but it looks that that SBS 2003 is having some problem with outbound traffic. The SMTP protocol looks to be working well but somehow the connection is dropped. I am looking for a detail guide that can offer more highlight on the problem.
