WSUS SP1, XP SP3, Net Framework 3.0 problems

I have a WSUS 3.0 to update all computers at work. Just now, I checked an issue that is concerning Net Framework 3.0, so I approved to install it on all the computers and it used to work properly. Then last week, I installed Windows XP SP3 to test drive it on a couple of machines. Now, those 2 computers show "Not Applicable" on the status column for the Net framework 3.0 update and report while the rest of the computers shows as installed. Is there any fix for this issue?

I have tried to reinstall Windows XP Service Pack 2 using the same spanish slipstreamed CD and now the .Net Framework 3.0 appears as usual on the updates list. Still dont know what to do?

The .Net 3 package .NET 2 sp1 package and the .NET 3 sp1 package do not currently seem to detect fine on Service Pack 3 machines. The only solution is to not install Windows XP SP3 until the problem has been resolved or to install .NET versions and updates manually.

To install WSUS 3.0 SP2 using Server Manager

1. Log on to the server on which you plan to install WSUS 3.0 SP2 by using an account that is a member of the local Administrators group.
2. Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager.
3. In the right side pane of the Server Manager window, if Windows Server Update Services is not listed in the Roles Summary section, click Add Roles.
4. If the Before You Begin page appears, click Next.
5. On the Select Server Roles page, select Windows Server Update Services.
6. On the Windows Server Update Services page, click Next.
7. On the Confirm Installation Selections page, click Install.
8. When the WSUS 3.0 SP2 Setup Wizard starts, skip the next page in the wizard, and complete the steps in the wizard that begin on the To continue installing WSUS 3.0 SP2 page.
