    WSUS & 80072ee2 Errors

I have got some weird issue with WSUS. Previously it was running fine and I have noticed a few errors which are affecting more machines over time, and now its happened to the AU client on the WSUS server itself and getting the below error message:

    • WARNING: Failed to upload events to the server with hr = 80072ee2.
    • WARNING: AU found no suitable session to launch client in

How can I solve this issue, please help?

It might be that the access to the interface has been blocked by policy? Also note that the 0x80072ee2 error message and the inability to access the UI may or may not be related.

If the error message still appears after you either exit and then restart Windows Update, or enable Windows Automatic Updates to install automatically every 24 hours, follow these methods to resolve the issue from here -
