Move WSUS 3.0 Database from Drive C: to Drive W:

I have installed SBS 2003 Server and it was upgraded from WSUS 2.0 to 3.0 SP2. I want to move the 2.5gb database from Drive C to Drive W. I am not able to find any documentation on how to move the database. However I got some information on how to move the content but not the database. So, is there anyone who can help me to do this things? Thanks.

There is a topic that explains how to migrate the Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) database from a Windows Internal Database instance (installed by default during WSUS setup) to a full version of Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Since you have 2.5gb of database so it definitely seems very big and it doesnt seem the cleanup wizard touches the DB. So, the best option would be to move it although I am wondering whether it can be shrunken as well or not.

Try to follow the below method to solve your issue:

First of all install new WSUS server on Win2008R2 as replica of existing server.
After that you need to replicate and download.
Now you have to reconfigure new WSUS server as upstream server and then Synchronize.
Lastly, you can update clients to talk to new WSUS server.
