WARNING: Cached cookie has expired or new PID is available

I have been using XP SP3 clients and WSUS3 on 2003 server, today i have come across " WARNING: Cached cookie has expired or new PID is available " on some machines. I never came across this warning up till now, I also wanted to add that i have gone through automatic update log and have found that the ip address mentioned in log is different from machine ip address. Is there anything that i can try out for fixing this issue on all affected machines?? Any help regrading this will be appreciated, Thanks in advance.

Re: WARNING: Cached cookie has expired or new PID is available

This warning comes up when targeting cookie gets expired, basically targeting cookie expires after 1 hr and in case you are not using hourly detections then you will get that warning after every hour when you call SimpleAuthWebService. The other issue you have mentioned i.e. ip address mentioned in log is different from machine ip address. is not related to the warning message you are getting. As far as i can guess some one might have changed it, you will have to re configure it by editing registry.
