KB943729 GPP CSE for XP SP3 fix - ETA?

I have read from wsus support site that WSUS 3.0 SP1 wont be able to detect XP service pack 3 machines while requiring the KB943729 update, which is the client side extension for group policy preferences. It was noted by microsoft that a fix will be supplied soon. So, this date has been passed and the issue being still existing then can anyone tell me an expected resolution date for this problem? Thanks.

There is no date given for it yet, you will need to chat with the Windows XP team or might be the AD/GPO SE team, for any kind of information regarding the availability of XP patches. This problem is often caused by bad detection logi in the KB943729 package. The only solution will be a repackaging and revision of that update package to WSUS. Can you try to see if KB943729 picked up a revision lately.

It seems that KB943729 isn't currently not supported on XP SP3. This update is not currently applicable to Windows XP SP3. Validation of this update on the Windows XP SP3 platform is undergoing evaluation for a future release.
