    I've already set up controls on shutting down the system. The issue I have is preventing log off when a particular application is running.

    The application is being run under the user's account. It is a telnet application that accesses a legacy ERP application on a linux box.

    Does anyone have any ideas how I can cancel a user's log off?

    I need to be able to deny log off ability if a certain application is open.

    We went to LPR printing and haven't had any...

    We went to LPR printing and haven't had any problems. With TCPIP we would get queues that would lock up infrequently. With LPR they were bullet proof.
