hi thanks everyone i think it could be the harddrive as when i ran memtesst the memory is fine so that rules out the motherboard and memory would anyone be able to confirm that it is the harddrive...

hi you cant change the serial key even if you do you will have six months left and you will have to buy a new version of windows 7 and reinstall it as you didnt actully think you were getting a free...
