    Samsung SyncMaster T220 Lcd Monitor

Samsung The SyncMaster T220 Lcd Monitor

Samsung decided to deliver what could be the successor of the famous 226 and BW 2232BW and chances are it is!

This screen is equipped with a slab of TN 2 ms and a dynamic contrast of… 20,000: 1 which makes it currently is the screen with the largest contrast in the market.

Here are a few photos of the beast:

    And here Are its characteristics:

    Screen Size: 22 "
    Brightness: 300 cd / ㎡
    Contrast: DC 20 000:1 (1000:1)
    Resolution: 1680 x 1050
    Response time: 2 ms (GTG)
    Angle (Horizontal / Vertical): 170 º / 160 º
    Connectors: D-sub (VGA), DVI-D
    Speakers: Not
    Type: Simple
    Function: Toggles

At the moment no test has been done on this new range of Samsung screen.

The only thing we can say is that this series of screen is characterized by a light bar at the bottom of the screen which can be green, blue or red (the latter color appears specific to Europe).
Samsung has also included the colors black lacquered who had made the success of its previous range.

There are also models "HD" and these models have the connections to integrate an impressive for this type of screen:

-- The conventional VGA and DVI
    -- An HDMI socket
    -- A connectivity YUV
    -- A TV Tuner!

    A photo of the "HD":

Attention, however, some sites as "digital" announced at news about this screen that the T220P was also called T220 normal. Outside it is not the case because the T220 does not have a TV tuner, or HDMI socket or taken YUV.

Note: The T220P and T220 are only a single screen with VGA and DVI connections.

Samsung has named the former model "P" "HD" which incorporates the final on TV Tuner TNT HD, HDMI, YUV, an antenna and also SCART.
These versions are equipped with TN slab of 5 ms and a contrast to "only" 10000: 1.

Here's a little comparative prices that screen and good surprise is that it is not much more expensive than 226 BW at the time (around appox. Rs. 19000).

My first impressions were pretty good about the overall quality of the screen.
Only small flat on the screen: The light bar suggests the metal plate which serves as its support.

I will share my impressions when I purchase and will test it.

Note that this model is also available in 24 "and 26" in the reference T240 and T260.
