Corsair Obsidian 750D Full Tower ATX Case

The full tower Obsidian case is great-looking for high performance PCs. It is an ideal case for building up ultimate gaming pc. You can easily fit a liquid cooler, three graphic cards, multiple hard drives, and still there is ample of space left to add more things in it. It is designed with a point of view to give advance cooling solution and enough room to add different hardware. You will never fell short of space on this case. The Obsidian 750D is a full tower case which is bulky and not like our regular case. This type of exclusive models is costly and need a fixed place also. It has a transparent side panel that lets you to show off your extreme machine's internal components. I think Obsidian 750D is suitable for those who does not really want to go with industrial grade design which we had found in 900D. A much bigger one but very much similar to Obsidian 750D. It is ideal for gamers, overclockers, and those who want to build an ultimate file server system for their mid size business.

The body consists of brushed aluminum and steel elements that makes it durable. But that does not mean it will handle shocks. The side panel once removed is quite thin. It can dent easily. So take care while handling the same. Building a system inside Obsidian 750D is very convenient. That is because you have enough room to put your hardware properly. It comes with a straight forward design where you just have to load your best hardware and turn on your system. These types of cases have enough place to add lot of fans. It maintains maximum air ventilation and keeps the processor cool on high end usage. The cost of Obsidian 750D is around Rs.12000 approx.

Design:

Corsair Obsidian 750D is loaded with around 9 expansion slots and has a room to add around 10 hard drive on the same. You can just use it to create an ultimate file storage system or you can make a high end overclocking pc out of it. This case comes in single black color with a transparent window on the left side. The internal structure is well designed with proper cable management support. It looks like a very decent model. If you are using led fans then I am quite sure it will look more amazing from the right side. It is a huge case. There are around 10 fan mounting support on the entire case.

Front:

At the front top side lie the audio jacks. A tiny reset key sits with them. At the extreme right there are 4 usb pots among which 2 are usb 3.0 ports and two are regular one. Instead of top side they are placed on the front for easy access. Most of the full tower case has ports and button on the top side which is bit convenient I think. Below you can fit three optical drives.

Corsair Obsidian 750D comes with three 140mm fans. Two are situated on the front side. If you are using 120mm fans then you can add upto three on this place. The fans are covered with a dust filter and a separate panel that has a corsair logo at the center bottom. It is very easy to remove and add.

Back:

The third fan is on the back with 9 gpu slots. The psu compartment is placed at the extreme bottom side.

Top:

You can add more fans on the top side. You can add three fans of 120mm on top or you can just put two 140mm fans. There is a dust filter provided with magnetic strip.

Bottom:

An additional dust filter tray just sits below the psu compartment. It is easy to remove and clean. If you want to remove the drive bays to make a bit more space then you can do that by removing the bay screws at the bottom. Both the drive bays are removable. It's a good option. In Corsair Obsidian 750D you can put around 10 drives of differ size. So if you are not using much you can remove the bays and keep them aside.

Internal Design:

Obsidian 750D has good amount of space inside. Rubber grommets are provided to manage cables properly from the right panel. It comes with very less accessories. Inside, as you can see, the things are well organized. Like the drive bays and psu setup holds the bottom part.

While the optical drive is usually on the top right and the central part is for the motherboard. There are around 9 gpu slots. If the drive bays interrupt with graphics card or with the psu cable, you can remove one of them.

These are tool-less drive bays. You can add around three 5.25inch drives, four 2.5inch drive and around six drives of 3.5inch or 2.5inch. But you have to get extra drive bays for that. If you check on the right side of Obsidian 750D, you will find 4 drive bays for a SSD drive. There is also tool less bays which comes easily by pulling it in front. So in total there are 10 drive bays that support different type of hard drive. Obsidian 750D has kept a premium place for SSD's. This simply means this case emphasizes more on making a performance pc.

Performance:

Obsidian 750D comes loaded with 3 Corsair AF140L high-airflow 140mm fans. This fans offer you good cooling for a gaming system. But for high end use you have to upgrade to liquid cooler. The top panel is best according to me. You can attach a full size radiator with three 120mm fans and this will give an ultimate cooling option. Even the front side is capable of holding a radiator but it will be again complicated to fix fan over it. It will remain open all the time. Obsidian 750D is an extreme edition case. It comes with smart cable management and easy adjustment through which you can fix different hardware easily inside. Too many fans mean more noise that can disturb sometime.
