    Nokia Booklet 3G Mini Laptop

The 3G Nokia Booklet is one of the best netbook currently on the market regarding the quality of materials and battery life. The Booklet 3G, in fact, is covered in aluminum and this gives elegant look and strength and solidity. The battery, however, ensures a high degree of autonomy which, as I have seen, has a duration of about 10 hours with heavy usage. Like most netbooks competition booklet is the 3G Nokia with an Atom processor from Intel by. The display measures ten inches. The booklet has an HDMI output for lossless transmission of video and audio to an external device (such as a flat screen TV). The battery holds according to the manufacturer of up to twelve hours.

For the mobile work functions have the Nokia's engineers incorporated many of the booklet 3G: The data is transmitted via UMTS / HSPA and WLAN . A GPS module is integrated with 3G, the booklet is also thanks to on-board "Ovi" software (ie, map data) and the location and route planning. 1.25 kilograms, the unit has a housing made of aluminum and the thickest high only slightly more than two centimeters. Another feature that sets it apart from other netbooks is the presence of a SIM slot that allows data connections for internet access via mobile networks, a useful feature especially when you're traveling and need to access the network and not You can connect via WiFi or ethernet cable.

As you know laptops mini netbooks are intended primarily for surfing the mobile internet. The small size compared to the notebook, involve some type of hardware restrictions (such as a keyboard smaller) but at the same time make it a real computer 'pocket'.

Re: Nokia Booklet 3G Mini Laptop

Nokia Booklet 3G is an elegant but multipurpose gadget , in order to jump to the view that this is not a netbook or a lightweight laptop, in fact they want it to be something else and it shows when you have it in your hands. The design, slightly curved run in a way the soft shapes of ancient Nokia. The result, as we said, is a very good design and especially an excellent finishing quality. A team to teach, yes, quite noticeable when you put the finger prints and should be corrected this bug in future models. The dimensions are very small and is very lightweight, only 1250 grams. On the left side there is a HDMI output (video output High Definition), two USB and audio output.

On the right side we find the power button, SD card reader and one of the most important thing the SIM card slot for 3G internet (we read mail, surf the Internet, instant conversations with friends etc. .) has WCDMA 900/2100 3G modem or 800-850/900/2100 with which we can only make data calls.

Unfortunately no ethernet card, It appears as Nokia has chosen to comply with the thickness less than 2 centimeters before incorporating a RJ45 output to connect your network cable. you can see the card reader and where it puts the SIM card in detail, since this is the only notebook capable of supporting the SIM card to "hot", without turning off the computer or having to remove the battery. Certainly a plus.

The Booklet 3G has an Intel Atom Z530, 1.6 GHz, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM and a 120 GB hard drive. It 'also features a 1.3 Megapixel camera, 3 USB ports, GPS, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 and, as already mentioned, 3G modem for data connections. Very useful is the HDMI port, ideal for connecting to a TV Booklet to enjoy movies or videos in HD quality. The brilliant 10.1 "is made of glass and has a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, so it is very clear. Too bad for the color and brightness, in my opinion, are a bit off as you can see from with Apple iPad.

With these specifications the booklet does very well with most multimedia applications, you notice some slowdowns only when you try to keep open multiple applications simultaneously and for the rest of the speed and fluidity is commendable. Good idea to place the status LEDs on the hinge as it makes them visible even when the computer is closed. The multitouch trackpad is good and sensitive, very useful to be able to zoom with the simple approach or enlargement of two fingers. Also notable quieter, Booklet 3G Nokia is not making any noise fans. The keyboard is made, I think, a bit of buttons' small, but alas this is a problem that plagues all the netbooks on the market.

    Softwares and Applications:

    • The Nokia Booklet features in Windows 7 Starter. In all my tests proved very powerful and stable, without any major hitch.
    • The preinstalled applications are different, including the Nokia Ovi Suite and the respective hub that provides access to the most popular social network of the network with a single click. If all this were not enough, you can access the 'App Store, Intel where you can download free software or for a fee, specially developed for this device.

    • The test of a video call with Skype Wifi is that 3G is successful. Very noticeable is the Nokia Ovi suite pre-installed on the device, and pressing the dedicated button, you see the special menu from which you can send and receive messages using your SIM.

    • As regards the budget devoted to software productivity in the workplace are the suite of Microsoft Office Small Business on the 60-day trial.

    Multimedia:

    • Also in the field of multimedia Booklet performs well thanks to HD Ready display. The device supports playback of video in Full HD, even if the computer is just on the edge when playing, because when you try to increase the volume, the computer "stuck" for a few moments and then slowly recover.

    • The only downside is the audio, although the booklet is equipped with two stereo speakers, the audio is "empty", very sharp and lack bass.

    • The Gaming is not bad, although having some limitations because many current titles require a much more powerful hardware.

Re: Nokia Booklet 3G Mini Laptop

The price of the Nokia Booklet 3G Mini Laptop is approx Rs.30,000 Indian Rupee (although it has not been confirmed yet). You can find more information and prices for this laptop directly from the computer vendors as well. The best part of this Nokia Booklet is that it weighs only 1.25kg and is just over 2 cm thick. It is equipped with an aluminum hull and incorporates features like WiFi, Bluetooth and a 3G modem / HSDPA which is more than enough for a normal surfing use.
