Motorola is having great Time with Android - the latest Motorola Moto droid is The Quench XT3. The Motorola XT3 Quench Bar Is A touchscreen, similar to The Original Motorola Quench. The Quench XT3 runs Android OS 1.6 Donut (and Not the rumored 2.1 Eclair INITIALLY). Another change to The Official spec sheet compared to The Rumor Is the 3MP camera. The Rest of the Motorola Quench XT3 specs are standard fare Android - 3.2 "HVGA touchscreen, a 600MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 CPU, Wi-Fi b / g, GPS and support for microSD cards up to 32GB.

For example, we have a 3.2 inch display with capacitive panel, a little more than the previous edition, but it happens to have less resolution as it relates to photographic capture, installing now a three-megapixel sensor.

    Design

For Motorola Quench XT3 , Motorola has included physical Call and End buttons for phone functions, and a trackball for menu navigation. MotoBlur, a user interface with Motorola based on social networks, however, was left aside for this Smartphone Android. Motorola has seen the integration of various online services as a key factor for his return, but the company has since shifted its strategy by minimizing the software on its appliances. It's probably a wise decision that we felt the experience was awkward compared to MotoBlur Sense HTC UI and Android 3.0 gingerbread could possibly be relevant custom interfaces. That said, it is not entirely vanilla on Motorola Android XT3 Quench tempering that Motorola has given a different look to the home screen, context menus and application icons by default.

The Motorola XT3 Quench hardening can be positioned as a Smartphone basic, but it looks a high-end device. When we clapped eyes on the Motorola Quench XT3 and cradled in our hands, he shook the memories of the Nexus One Google manufactured by HTC . We love the costume plastic smooth, soft to the touch and the sides work well together when in the palm of your hand. The silver metal band that runs around the phone adds a small premium to cover its entry-level origins. On the right side, you find the camera shutter and volume buttons. At the top of the on / off button and a 3.5mm audio jack. The micro-USB port for charging and PC connection is on the left. And finally, around back are the 3 megapixel camera with LED flash and speaker on board.

Neatly aligned in a row below the 3.2-inch screen are the capacitance HVGA Touch Menu, Home, Search and Back controls. It is not backlit, and we fumbled while trying to guess which were in the dark. A few millimeters down a trackball is surrounded by a brushed metal ring. On the sides are the call and end buttons backlit ticking that do nothing but bring up the keyboard and end an active call. Curiously, pressing the end key does not leave an application or bring you back to the home screen. This could be an initial learning curve for users Quench Motorola XT3. The screen does not score points with us because of performance issues, but we'll touch more on that later.

    Android

Motorola Quench hardening XT3 runs on Android 1.6 (Donut) compared to the original Quench based on Android 1.5 (Cupcake), if both versions are very far behind the current version 2.2. Motorola told us by email that the software "will be updated in the future," but does not say if or when the firmware is updated. Smart dialing is supported so you can just punch the first letters of the name / person you want to call them instead of memorizing number or search the directory. The text entry was a terrible experience, though. You can switch between the standard QWERTY alphanumeric keyboards and double letter, and in English and in Chinese settings, but, boy, was the slow reaction.

As with all Android phones running version 1.5 or later, you get universal search, ability to switch between video and still camera, Bluetooth stereo, home screen widgets, files and copy functions paste. In terms of wireless connectivity, the Motorola Quench XT3 supports quad-band GSM, HSDPA 7.2Mbps, EDGE, Assisted-GPS and 802.11b / g. There is also an ambient light sensor, magnetometer and digital compass for the proximity sensor built into the device.

Motorola Quench XT3, like most other Android-Smartphone is made in monoblock form factor with a touchscreen. The unit has an attractive appearance and technical characteristics of the middle class.. Communicator Motorola Quench XT3 is made in a candy bar without a physical keyboard with an attractive design. New product based on the Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor with 600 MHz and equipped with a capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 320x480 pixels, 3-megapixel camera modules, Wi-Fi b / g and Bluetooth 2.1, GPS-navigator, an accelerometer, 3.5-mm audio jack and an expansion slot for memory cards format microSD . The gadget is likely to choose a successor to Motorola CLIQ XT. But the start date sales of Smartphone are still unknown, as unknown to the rest of his opportunities.

    Camera

The 3-megapixel camera is a basic module with fixed focus, so it works better for the midrange and landscape plans. In viewfinder mode, you can adjust the exposure and digital zoom. Go to the Settings menu brings up more options, including geotagging, white balance, color effects, flash, bands of image quality and size. Pressing the shutter button, trackball or the icon to open the screen snaps the photo. Shutter sound can also be disabled. Colors are OK, but the camera tends to clip both the highlights and shadows for mid-range shots. The LED is not a pre-flash mode, so if you shoot in a dimly lit, get ready to shoot blind. As for video quality with VGA resolution and 15fps, we did not expect much. Watch our video and test images on the next page.

The camera is not the best that can be found today in the market. In fact, with its 3.15 megapixel sensor is below the average of many current Smartphone, which offer at least five megapixels. The results are not necessarily harmful, but neither have a great quality. Quench matter less if Motorola did not have a profile XT3 so markedly social. Video films, but has not detailed what resolution. Nor does it mention if it has LED flash.

    Performance

The XT3 comes with 256 MB of RAM and it can drain pretty quickly if you use applications in the background. However, you can download applications such as Advanced Task Killer to help free RAM frequently. The 1230 mAh battery is estimated to rise to 8.3 hours talk time and 20 days standby. With the light of calls and messages, Gmail more about Exchange email accounts push, and sometimes web browsing, the cell lithium-ion battery lasted a little less than a day. During the call quality was good, although we could not say the same thing for the built-in speaker. At maximum volume and a bar underneath the shock audio sounded in the ears.

Although this is the successor to the MB501, it has only a 3 megapixel camera. This is the processor with 600 MHz and a little faster, the display has grown at the same resolution to 3.2 inches. On board are the same standards for data transmission and a slot for microSD cards with up to 32 GB. The connections include a USB port and a 3.5mm audio output. The battery is a lithium polymer battery and has a capacity of 1,230 milliamps. No detail is what gives the user autonomy. Apparently only available in black.

    Internet

Quench Motorola XT3 is a 3G handset with everything needed to surf the broadband Internet. Operates on GSM frequencies 850, 900, 1,800 and 1,900 MHz. It supports HSDPA networks to 850, 1,900 and 2,100, a protocol able to achieve download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps. On the other hand, has 802.11 WiFi b / g. The advantage of WLAN connections compared to 3G is that today many points have been set free coverage. Or at least, at a cost advantage. Is also equipped with Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profile. Thanks to him will be able to connect wirelessly to other devices based on the same technology. It is for hands-free kits and many models of wireless headphones. It comes with assisted GPS or A-GPS. Finally, physical connectors consist of a microUSB port and an outlet for standard 3.5 millimeter audio.

    Conclusion

This tiny and is in reality probably not being noticeable improvements but a big disadvantage against: The Motorola QUENCH XT3 has only a 3-megapixel camera. The first QUENCH other hand, offers a 5-megapixel model. In so far has spoken at least in part by a downgrade, which would be perceived by many users even more clearly than the supposed improvements in processor and display. Then would it be original QUENCH almost attractive.

The mobile is right now available in India also. It was estimated that the phone cost for Indian market will lie between Rs.12000-14000.
