Widescreen HDTV images use a 16:9 aspect ratio, while most widescreen LCD monitors have a 16:10 aspect ratio (meaning it is slightly "squarer" than a widescreen TV), these use a 16:9 aspect ratio, and therefore match most widescreen video content.

Extremely bright, vivid colors. Large desktop area and easy set up in both DVI and VGA. In Vista, I used the supplied CD to set up the monitor; Windows 7 Beta automatically identified the monitor.

So far, this is a great monitor, and at $219 it was no-brainer. This monitor is very fast, with no ghosting. Mine came with no dead or stuck pixels.
