what is the max. size of a HDD partition under FAT32 file system?
Hello guys, need some urgent help from you all. I’m having an 80GB Hard drive in my desktop and want to install Windows 98 on the same. Now the problem is somewhere I got to read that more than 64GB of portion wont display proper size. So I can anyone tell me if I can use FDISK command from the win 98 booting floppy? If yes, what should be the maximum partition size I should be that could be supported by FAT 32 file system? Thanks for all your helps.

As far as i know the largest partition size under Fat32 that Windows 98 can run is 137GB. Am not sure about this but this is what I heard somewhere. Anyways, you can also check out these KM Articles for more helps:
