Media Player 11 override default codec
I am running Windows Vista on my computer and have installed FFDShow and set it as my default codec for mp3 files. All other media player are using this same codec, but I dont know why only Windows Media Player 11 is ignoring it and using its built-in codec at the time of playing mp3 files. When I also play some .avi files then wmp 11 will not use the ffdshow codec. I dont understand why wmp 11 is not using the code settings, can anyone please tell me a good reason for it?
Re: Media Player 11 override default codec
You can use something like LAME MP3 Encoder which is the best MP3 encoder at mid-high bitrates and at VBR, mostly thanks to the dedicated work of its developers and the open source licensing model that allowed the project to tap into engineering resources from all around the world. Download it by searching on google.
