Computer diagnostic tools on CD

Here I found a website which has computer diagnostic tools that ISO image you can burn on a CD. This can be used as a windows app or just a bootable CD.

Site is confusing, afraid to try it. Have you tried it? Seems to have many programs, not sure what is on which cd.

I have used one similar, UltimateBootCD is great, but its not for the typical user. More geared toward the technical user.

Yeah, a LOT of these have tools that if you don't use them right, can & will, blow away your OS! - Use at your own rick! But they are GREAT, if you DO know how to use them.

Seriously, though I am going to burn today, maybe try it out on tommorow. seems interesting and best of all it's FREE.

Actually I've found I like Hiren's Boot CD better. Have it set up on a small USB thumbdrive.

Thanks for that tip, I found it, downloaded it, and seeing if I can recover some data on a HD. Its not dead yet, but wants to be. HA HA! If I can 'fix' it, Ill burn the data off the DVD disk and then put a 9mm into it.
