I have a Toshiba Laptop that is running on Windows Vista operating system. I gave it to one of my friend and he accidentally deleted the 1.5gb recovery parition from this laptop. So, does anyone know how do I retrieve this partition again from the laptop? Or else my only option left is to call Toshiba and ask them to deliver me a Copy of Windows in a disk?
Well, I think that you will have to call Toshiba and ask them if you can get a recovery disk or not or for a fees? In the meanwhile you can use third party tools in your laptop, if you havent used it so, like for exaple Partition Recovery Software to get the parition back that has the recovery files. I also think that Toshiba supplies a recovery cd with every laptop, so check if you have got the same because then you wont require the recovery parition at all.
