It's being reported that a Sony rep has let slip at the GDC Paris event that God of War III will make its debut at E3 next month in Los Angeles.
Talk from a few French sites is that even if it does show up, it likely won't be playable, since it's on course for a late 2009 release.
According to the report, Sony revealed at this week's Interactive and Digital Entertainment Festival in Paris that the first God of War III details and trailer will arrive "as early as next July." E3 2008 is scheduled for July 15 through 17
The game was first mentioned on the back cover of the manual for God of War: Chains of Olympus for the PlayStation Portable, which indicated that it was "coming soon."
However, game designer from GOWII, Cory Barlog, has quit the company, and with the leaving of David Jaffe earlier this year, we're not sure who's going to be reigning this thing in. Still, it's going to be great. Who doesn't love God of War?
