I Want To Set Up 5 Computer On A Network So They Can All See Each Other I Am Using A Dlink Switch It Is Not Receiving But Sending Please Someone Should Help Me Out So I Can Achieve This.it Is A 8port Switch.
Question:
1. Do I Need To Assign Ip Addresses To Each Computer
2. Why Is It Not Receiving But Sending
3. Or Do I Need To Configure The Switch First

1. Yes, an IP address must be assigned to any computer. However, you can assign it either by manually or by DHCP enabled device.
2. It is not receiving because the server to which the computer is trying to establish a connection is unable to find your computer on the network.
3. Yes definitely, you need to configure the switch first and then only you can assign an IP address to each computer.
