Problem with Service Pack 3

I have installed windows xp Service Pack 3 in my system recently and now when i am trying to install Windows Media Player 11, i am getting an error saying " Unsupported operating system". I want to know if it is possible to install WMP 11 on XP3 or i will have to revert back to SP2???

Try this:

• Download Windows Media Player 11 from here.
• Extract wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe using WinRAR, 7zip or any other archiving app
• Run wmfdist11.exe and than run wmp11.exe form those extracted files and wmp11 should get installed without any issue further.
